When your body feels like a mystery, and your brain works a little differently.
Somatic, neurodivergent-affirming therapy for adults and teens facing anxiety, phobias, chronic illness and fatigue, and unexplained physical symptoms.
When you have anxiety, phobias, or unexplained somatic symptoms, your life grows smaller by the day.
You avoid what triggers your anxiety, until it feels like almost everything feels unsafe. You limit your activities so you don't get too tired. Friends disappear. You're not sure why, but surely you must have done something wrong.
Now you're falling behind, feeling unheard at school or work, pushing past your limits but never catching up, and feeling uncertain about where to turn. Past providers seem unsure how to help you.
If this sounds familiar, you might also:
Feel out of place in this world – neurodivergent, creative, or highly sensitive – sometimes wondering in your imagination if you’re some type of alien
Experience chronic pains, aches, or fatigue, with no medical explanation or an unclear diagnosis
Worry that your phobias are too “weird” to share or will be hard to treat
Frequently put others’ needs before your own, and feel resentful or ignored
Live with or grew up with a sibling with high or special needs or felt you had to be the “good one”
Have past experiences with teachers, medical providers, or mental health providers who didn’t believe or listen to you when you explained what you needed
You need gentle, effective therapy that helps you feel calmer, safer in the world and your body, and more confident to face challenges—with space to discover what healing and growth look like for you.

Beth Fuller, LPC & Rumi the Therapup
Beth Fuller (she/her)
Licensed Professional Counselor and Somatic Experiencing Professional based in Boulder, Colorado
Early in my career, I was trained in a modality that effectiveness relied heavily on seeing images in your mind. The catch? As someone with aphantasia, I didn’t have that ability
But I wasn't discouraged.
As a child, I delighted in playing “scientist”. I brought forth this curious, playful energy to my therapy approach, to see how I could make this new modality work for me, even though my brain worked differently.
I successfully did, and it was a creative catalyst for all the ways I could strategically adapt modalities for neurodivergent, sensitive, and chronic illness clients -- helping them feel relief, calm, and confidence -- and helping them feel their life start to expand and brighten again.
Now I approach all sessions with zero assumptions, and plenty of ideas and tools available. So if you’re neurodivergent, facing anxiety or unexplained somatic symptoms, or simply need a therapist who has many options to help you feel better, let’s give it a shot.

Rumi the Therapup (she/they/he)
Certified Touch Therapy Dog, Intense Eye Contact Maker, and Official Greeter of New Clients
If you enter my office and see a wiggling, black furry puff ball, that’s Rumi, a 5-year old hypoallergenic Yorkipoo.
She isn’t phased by loud noises or assistive devices, will be politely curious about what you’re doing in session but also respect your space. They love high pitch voices, praise, armpit scratches, and sleeping as close to human feet as possible.
Most importantly, Rumi wants you to know that you can be anxious and still be calm and rest. She has separation anxiety and takes doggie-Prozac. Expect her to give you an enthusiastic greeting, before napping for the rest of your session.
What’s different about my approach to therapy
I work with women who look completely on top of things and privately feel like they're running on fumes.
My approach is body-first. We'll talk, of course, but we'll also listen to what your nervous system has been trying to say while your mind did all the talking.
How I Can Help You or Your Teen
Is this you?
I work best with women who are ready to try something different.
Anxiety that lives in your body
You know you're anxious. Knowing hasn't turned it off. Your jaw is tight, your shoulders are somewhere up near your ears, and your mind won't quit. You're tired of managing it.
Burnout & Disconnection
You've run on empty so long you've half forgotten what full feels like. On paper you're doing great. Inside, something went quiet a while ago.
Patterns that won’t budge
You've done real work on the past, and it still shows up: in your reactions, your relationships, the way your body braces before you've decided anything. You're ready to move through it instead of around it.
Let’s find your way back.
The first step is usually the vulnerable one, so I keep it easy-breezy. A free 15-minute call, just to talk. No pressure, and no hard feelings if it’s not right for you.
