Therapy for women who are done thinking their way toward feeling better.

In person in Santa Cruz, or via telehealth anywhere in California.

What this is

One-on-one therapy that works with your whole self, body included. We blend somatic work, EMDR, breathwork, and ordinary conversation, in whatever proportion the moment calls for.

Some weeks that looks like talking. Some weeks your body has more to say than your mind does, and we follow that instead.

What to Expect

  • Step One

We'll start with a free 15-minute consultation to make sure we're a good fit. If we decide to work together, our first few sessions will focus on your history, patterns, and goals for therapy.

  • Step Two

From there, we'll settle into a rhythm, typically meeting weekly. Sessions are 50 minutes and can take place in my Santa Cruz office or via telehealth for California residents.

Who this is for

You're thoughtful, capable, and quietly worn out. You've likely been to therapy before and gotten real value from it, and you still have the sense that something hasn't fully landed. You're drawn to body-based work, and you want it from someone with the clinical training to back it up.

How I work

Some sessions we talk through what's happening in your life. Others we go straight to your nervous system, using breath to regulate, somatic work to release what's stuck, or EMDR to move through memories that still have a grip on you.

I follow your lead, and I'll also nudge you toward the tender spots when you're circling them. I'm warm and fairly direct. I won't let you stay comfortable if comfortable is keeping you stuck. My aim is to help you walk away with tools and a steadiness that outlast our time together.
